Mr.Xiao once served in the legal management department of a Fortune Global 500 financial enterprise, where he gained in-depth familiarity with the daily operations, investment and financing-related businesses of enterprises. Since joining Sunshine Law Firm in 2018, he has focused on the energy, environmental protection and other infrastructure industries, providing professional legal services for a number of well-known domestic energy and environmental protection enterprises. He has led the legal services for hundreds of new energy investment and financing projects, and possesses a thorough understanding of the key risk points in the development and construction of new energy projects as well as various transaction models.

In addition, Xiao has provided full-process legal consultancy services for nearly 30 large-scale projects covering thermal power, offshore wind power, utility-scale photovoltaic power and onshore wind power. He holds unique insights into various difficult issues arising from project bidding and tendering, as well as engineering variation and claims during the construction phase. He has also represented clients in numerous construction project dispute cases, with the cumulative subject value of the cases handled exceeding RMB 1 billion. Moreover, Attorney Xiao serves as a research expert for the special rectification and supervision of bidding and tendering under the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province; a registered lecturer at the School of Continuing Education, Sun Yat-sen University; a registered lecturer at SPIC Jinyuan Co., Ltd.; and an instructor at Zhishi Network.
