On November 2nd, Joyce Lee, a partner of famous Canadian law firm McCarthy Tetrault LLP, visited Sunshine Law Firm(Shanghai) and was given warm reception by Ms. Zhu Hongwen, the partner in charge of Sunshine’s International Practice. Similarly to Sunshine, McCarthy Tetrault LLP is also an outstanding firm in the energy and environment areas and was ranked band 1 in energy practice and band 2 in environment practice by the Chambers league table 2016. Ms. Joyce Lee and Ms. Zhu introduced some of the energy and environment transactions led by their respective firms, and discussed the latest developments of the energy industry  and the overall investment environment in Canada and China.
