Invited by Zhejiang International Contractors Association, Mr. Song Yuxiang made a presentation to the its members on the overseas PPP operation procedure and risk prevention on August 22, 2016.

Started with the fundamentals of PPP, Mr. Song Yuxiang introduced the characteristics of the PPP project and emphasized that PPP is one type of public and private cooperation, whereby a government permits private investors to invest in, finance, construct and operate public utility projects. Mr. Song also explained what project finance is, and introduced security structure of overseas PPP projects, allocation and remedies of project’s risk prevention and control and other complex issues common in PPP projects. During the presentation, Mr. Song not only emphasized the material risks that might occur in each period of overseas PPP project, but also recommended solutions based on his experience in various overseas projects. Mr. Song’s presentation received high praise from the attendees.
